Terms of use
This website is published by Calgary Radon Pro to explain radon and to let you request testing or mitigation. Its content is general information, not medical, legal or engineering advice for your particular situation. The tools give estimates, not measurements or quotes. Prices and timings become binding only in a written quote. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

Is the content on this site advice?
No. The pages describe what Health Canada and other named sources say about radon and how testing and mitigation are normally done. They are written carefully and their sources are listed, but they cannot take account of your home, your health or your contract.
- Not medical advice. For questions about your health or your exposure, speak to a physician.
- Not legal advice. For disclosure, tenancy, condominium or contract questions, speak to a lawyer or your realtor.
- Not a substitute for a test. Nothing on this site can tell you the radon level in a building. Only a measurement can.
How should I treat the tools?
As aids to understanding. The result checker and unit converter apply published reference levels and a fixed conversion factor to a number you enter; they do not verify how a test was run. The cost calculator shows a price range for a type of system; the price for your home is set by an on-site assessment and stated in a written quote.
What does sending a request mean?
Sending the form or an email asks us to contact you. It does not create a contract and does not book or charge anything. Work is agreed only when you accept a written quote. How your details are handled is set out in the privacy policy.
How accurate and current is the site?
We check facts at their sources before publishing and update pages when guidance or research changes. Even so, guidance is revised, studies are superseded and mistakes are possible, so the site is provided as it is, without a promise that every statement is complete or current on the day you read it. If you find an error, please email contact@calgaryradonpro.ca.
What about links to other websites?
Pages link to sources such as Health Canada, the World Health Organization, C-NRPP and published research, and occasionally to other organizations. We link to them because they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Who owns the content?
The text, illustrations, photographs and tools on this site belong to Calgary Radon Pro unless a source is credited. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with attribution. Please do not republish whole pages or reuse the illustrations and photographs without permission.
What limits apply?
To the extent the law allows, Calgary Radon Pro is not liable for losses that result from relying on the general information or the tool estimates on this website in place of a measurement, a written quote or professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, and nothing here changes the terms of a written quote or contract for work at your home.
Which law applies, and how do I reach you?
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions about them can be sent to contact@calgaryradonpro.ca or through the contact page. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest change.
Calgary Radon Pro serves Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks and Chestermere.
